Riverwalk Village is searching for full-time dietary aides to work in our Assisted Living.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of infection control and food safety practices.
• Demonstrated patience and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in assisted living or healthcare food service settings.
• Certification in food handling or dietary aide training.
• Familiarity with special dietary needs such as diabetic, low sodium, or allergen-free diets.
• Strong interpersonal skills to relate positively with residents and staff.
• Ability to adapt to changing dietary guidelines and facility policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to prescribed dietary plans and facility standards.
• Follow written and oral instructions carefully to ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and infection control procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas, equipment, and utensils to meet health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to coordinate meal delivery and address resident needs promptly and respectfully.
• Support residents by relating positively and patiently, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during meal times.
