Junior Sheet Metal Installer

Location: NYC Metro Area

Pay: $24-$30/hr (DOE)

Project: Long-term 2-Year Commercial Construction Project

We're looking for a Junior Sheet Metal Installer to support a large-scale commercial construction project in the NYC Metro Area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HVAC or ductwork installation experience who wants steady work, competitive pay, and career growth alongside experienced sheet metal professionals.

• Assist with commercial HVAC ductwork installation
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork
• Install rectangular, spiral, and round duct systems
• Perform field measurements and layout work
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts
• Maintain quality workmanship and jobsite safety standards
• Collaborate with foremen, mechanics, and other trades

• 1-3 years of sheet metal or HVAC installation experience
• Ability to read construction drawings and plans
• Familiarity with commercial ductwork installation methods
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• OSHA 10 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a construction environment

This is a Contract position based out of Brooklyn, NY.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
