Job Responsibilities

  • Engage in collaboration with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise regimens.
  • Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Participate actively in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care.
Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accredited degree is essential.
Certifications
  • Must possess state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological or geriatric treatment) are beneficial but not mandatory.
Desired Skills
  • Prior experience is highly preferred.
