Type: Contract/Per Diem (15 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week
Pay: $48/hr - $53/hr (Based on Experience)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an exciting Contract/Per Diem job in Edison, NJ.
Responsibilities
Deliver respiratory therapy services under physician direction, including treatment, diagnostic evaluation, and disease management for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
Assist with intubation procedures and provide ventilator setup, monitoring, and ongoing respiratory support.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and collect clinical data to evaluate respiratory needs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and implement patient care plans.
Provide patient and caregiver education regarding respiratory conditions, treatments, and disease management.
Accurately document patient care, interventions, and responses in accordance with hospital standards.
Adhere to organizational policies, safety standards, and clinical competency requirements.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License.
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – AHA.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and care needs.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
High level of clinical judgment and attention to detail.
