Role Description The Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Libertyville, IL. This role oversees residential construction projects from pre-construction planning through completion, including scheduling, coordination of trades, and on-site supervision to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include managing project timelines, monitoring budgets and change orders, reviewing plans and specifications, and ensuring quality standards and building codes are met. The Construction Project Manager will communicate regularly with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors, resolve issues that arise on site, and maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Qualifications Strong project management capabilities, including Project Management and Construction Project Management skills. Experience in coordinating work across multiple stakeholders, demonstrating Project Coordination abilities. Proficiency in Construction Management, including understanding of residential building processes, codes, and best practices. Ability to manage project finances effectively, including Budgeting for materials, labor, and subcontractors. Previous experience managing high-end residential construction or remodeling projects. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, design professionals, and field teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced site environment. Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and basic office applications. Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
