Field Service Technician (Entry Level)

Job Type: Full Time (40hrs)

Acura Medical Systems Inc. is seeking applicants for Field Service Technician (Entry Level).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Travel to and from customer locations, including overnight, out-of-state travel.
• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and inspect diverse types of medical and laboratory equipment in a diverse range of environments.
• Generate safety inspection reports and document work performed.
• Consult manufacturer documentation to determine repair procedures and to verify proper parts fitment and performance.
• Work with customers to determine needs and to educate on equipment operation and care.
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in electronics, electromechanical engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience or vocational training.
• No prior medical equipment experience is required.
• Ability to travel within Ohio and to surrounding states, including overnight travel with occasional multiple days out of state.
• Ability to work overtime with little to no notice.
• Ability to kneel, crouch, and stoop, work on a ladder, and lift 100lbs unassisted.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass drug screening.
• Must be comfortable working in veterinary facilities in the presence of animals.
• Non-professional experience in electronics may be considered.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous field service experience in a related or unrelated field.
• Previous experience working in a healthcare or veterinary setting.
• Desire to learn and a career-oriented mindset.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  

COMPENSATION:

• Starting Pay: $19-$23/hr., based on relevant experience.
• Per Diem for overnight travel. All travel in company vehicles.
