Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, TX Facility: Dell Children's Medical Center Department: EEG Schedule: Full-time, Rotating shift How you'll make an impact in this role Diagnostic Testing & Equipment Mastery: Conduct advanced electroneurodiagnostic testing—including EEG, EP, and PSG—while managing full equipment setup, technical maintenance, and artifact correction to ensure precise data capture. Patient Care & Education: Review clinical histories, gather critical documentation, and educate patients on procedures to minimize anxiety and ensure compliance. Clinical Monitoring & Safety: Continuous monitoring and documentation of patient conditions during testing, with immediate reporting of adverse reactions to guarantee patient safety. Data Analysis & Reporting: Score, graph, and document diagnostic results, delivering accurate clinical reports to support medical teams in patient diagnosis. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Electroencephalographic Technician preferred. Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred. Technologist specializing in Nerve Conduction Study credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
