About the Position

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Stepdown/PCU experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or current Compact State license in hand at time of application
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be active, no pending certifications accepted)
• NIHSS certification required
• Management-level reference from specialty area within the past 12 months required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Clear background check and license history (no open cases or license hits accepted)
• Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
