As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, or potential hazards, documenting observations according to site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly shopping environment by providing directions, answering questions, and supporting store personnel during security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
