Position Summary Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.Work You’ll DoAs a Project - Consultant, Finance Managed Services on the Finance Managed Services team, you will be responsible for:Support financial management and audit readiness activities across defense-focused programs and initiativesAnalyze business processes, risks, and controls to help strengthen execution and improve program outcomesDevelop presentations, status updates, process documentation, and other client-ready deliverablesCoordinate with stakeholders to track priorities, manage action items, and support delivery against program milestonesPerform data analysis and research to identify issues, evaluate impacts, and inform recommendations for improvementA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsThe TeamDeloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.QualificationsRequired: Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of experience supporting financial management, audit readiness, internal controls, business process improvement, or program management activities2+ years of experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense programs1+ years of experience developing process documentation, standard operating procedures, briefing materials, or status reports1+ years of experience analyzing financial, operational, or program data using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Ability to work onsite in Dayton, OH 100% of the timeActive Secret security clearance requiredPreferred:Experience supporting audit readiness or financial improvement initiativesExperience with Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act, Office of Management and Budget Circular A-123, or Government Accountability Office Standards for Internal Control in the Federal GovernmentExperience supporting Working Capital Fund or revolving fund environmentsExperience with enterprise resource planning systems, financial reporting tools, or workflow tracking toolsExperience preparing materials for senior leaders or governance forums Deloitte is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.
