Human Resources Generalist

Position Title: Human Resources Generalist Wage: Based on Experience We are partnering with a strong manufacturing organization in Spring Green, WI to staff a Human Resources Generalist position to support day-to-day HR operations and partner with leadership on key employee-related initiatives. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and management while helping to ensure compliance, employee engagement, and operational effectiveness across the facility. The Human Resources Generalist will be involved in a broad range of HR functions, including employee relations, payroll/timekeeping, benefits administration, performance management, policy administration, talent acquisition, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate is a highly organized HR professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. This is a full‑time, direct hire, fully onsite position that offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities Support the administration and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with business objectives Partner with leadership on employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, employee development, and engagement initiatives Assist Recruiter with recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for open positions Administer leave programs, including FMLA and short‑term disability, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations Assist in processing bi‑weekly payroll and maintain employee timekeeping records Manage employee data within the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR‑related matters Assist in planning and coordinating employee events, recognition programs, and engagement activities Maintain knowledge of current HR best practices and employment regulations Requirements for Human Resources Generalist Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment HR certification such as SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR a plus Experience with timekeeping/payroll processing required Understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to build positive relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems #J-18808-Ljbffr Monroechamber
