We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as the Director of Financial Reporting. This pivotal role involves shaping and advancing the financial reporting strategy, ensuring the delivery of precise and timely financial information. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with senior executives and finance teams to optimize processes, strengthen controls, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives.

Compensation: Midpoint of $136K (10-15 years of experience) with additional bonus incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and finalize month-end close processes, including journal entry reviews and account reconciliations.
• Develop detailed analytical reviews and reports, both routine and ad hoc.
• Create complex financial models and pro forma analyses for contractual payment structures.
• Support the preparation of cost estimates and invoicing for external clients.
• Contribute to operational process decisions and automation within the accounting department.
• Assist in the preparation and management of annual operating and capital budgets.
• Design and standardize reporting for operational metrics and financial data.
• Coordinate audit activities and address audit findings from internal and external audits.
• Maintain current knowledge of accounting and regulatory requirements, particularly within healthcare and group purchasing sectors.
• Design and uphold internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
• Provide GAAP technical accounting guidance and support, including due diligence for acquisitions or dispositions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or management is essential.
• Experience in public accounting or financial auditing is preferred.
• CPA certification is considered an advantage.
