Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting educational and personal growth in a contract position serving K-12th grade learners. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with expertise in School Psychology and teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Work part-time, 2-3 days per week, from now until the end of the current school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid credential or certification in School Psychology and/or Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to assess, support, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassion, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct or consultative services as a School Psychologist and/or Teacher for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student development and success
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and planning to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Support the development of strategies and accommodations to enhance access to learning
- Provide recommendations and counseling as appropriate within the educational framework
