Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer - High-Energy Closer for an Established Automotive Repair Shop Schedule: Five-day workweek with two consecutive days off; shop is open seven days a week AutoShop Recruiting has partnered with an established independent automotive shop to locate a high-performing hungry, proven Service Advisor for an incredibly busy, high-volume service center in Desoto, Texas, who thrives in a fast-paced independent repair shop environment. This shop generates more than $500,000 in monthly sales , so we need a producer who can manage heavy car count, build accurate estimates, source parts, close large repair orders, and maintain customer trust. This is not an entry-level position or a traditional dealership lane role. What You’ll Do Complete our advisor-led Rack Attack inspection process Identify and prioritize safety, maintenance, and repair needs Source aftermarket, OEM, dealer, and specialty parts Verify pricing, availability, labor requirements, and warranty coverage Present complete repair recommendations and ask for the sale Manage customer communication from vehicle drop-off through delivery Coordinate workflow with technicians, vendors, and management Process parts, labor, aftermarket, and extended-warranty claims Follow up on declined services and unresolved recommendations Manage multiple repair orders in a high-volume environment What You Must Bring Three or more years of successful automotive service-advisor experience Proven results in a high-volume independent repair shop, or tire and service center Strong automotive technical and repair-estimating knowledge Hands-on parts sourcing and warranty-processing experienceStrong closing, objection-handling, organization, and follow-up skills Ability to work a five-day schedule with rotating weekend availability required Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Dealership experience alone is not enough unless you have personally sourced parts, built estimates, administered warranties, and owned the complete repair order. $75,000-$130,000 earning potential Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off Established customer base and consistent repair opportunities Structured operating processes Family-owned DeSoto shop serving the community since 1979 #J-18808-Ljbffr Frey Consulting Group
