Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities to improve mobility
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
• Document patient responses and maintain accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Current California PTA license or ability to obtain before start
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• BLS certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercise techniques and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
