Job Title : Packaging Mechanic

Location: Fall River, MA

Employment Type : Full Time

Work Hours/ Shift: 3:00 pm-11:30 pm 2nd Shift

Full-Time - It says 2nd shift, however 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts are available: 1st shift 7:00am 3:30pm, 2nd shift 3:00pm 11:30pm, 3rd shift 11:00pm 7:30am

Job Responsibiliti

• esPerform all functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP
• ).Perform installation, repair, and troubleshooting of process equipment as required, including electrical, pneumatic & electronic, and mechanical system
• s.Efficiently maintain operating machines and correct any malfunction
• s.Perform schedule preventive maintenance of equipmen
• t.Select and collect parts required for repair from storeroo
• m.Work with other mechanics to set up, troubleshoot, and repair process equipmen
• t.Responsible for "Downtime ", "Change Over Time ", "PM's " and "Productivity " result
• s.Responsible for completion of the PM's, in the required amount of time to maintain equipment efficienc
• y.Communicate possible deterioration of equipment by using the parts logbook and the troubleshooting form "One Point Lesson
• .Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area with all automatic equipment 100% functiona
• l.Follow safe procedures when repairing or maintaining equipmen
• t.Use Log Out/Tag out and all required safety equipmen
• t.Recommend equipment maintenance improvement to reduce cost and safety hazard
• s.Restart machines in a short period of time when required by business need
• s.Provide immediate feedback to Supervisor on unsafe equipment or working condition
• s.Adhere to Client Safety, Health and Environmental policie
• s.Other duties as assigne

Education & Experie

• GED2-4 years of experience in packaging with knowledge of repairing and maintenance activity and qualifications, preferably in a pharmaceutical compa
