• Assist in specimen collection as necessary and prepare samples for analytical testing.
• Thoroughly document procedures, provide training for new staff or students, and maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Educational Background

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of hire.
• Mandatory maintenance of current certification during employment.
