The ideal candidate should be confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, surgical recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, has knowledge of in-clinic laboratory equipment, understand the importance of client education, comfortable with proper animal handling and restraint, is a positive and supportive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing and Lakeview Pet Hospital encourages its staff to do the same.
