Job Title: Traffic Clerk Coordinator (Logistics & Warehouse)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Traffic Clerk Coordinator to support daily operations within a fast-paced logistics and warehouse environment. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication between drivers, warehouse staff, and office personnel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry related to shipments, inventory, and transportation records
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling and tracking deliveries
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and warehouse staff regarding load status and dock schedules
- Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, manifests, and invoices
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle logistics-related inquiries
- Maintain organized filing systems for shipping and receiving documentation
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and delivery paperwork
- Monitor office and warehouse supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist warehouse and logistics teams with administrative support as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with shipping systems, inventory software, or Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
