Principal Workday Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Workday Solutions Architect who is highly analytical, possesses strong problem‑solving abilities, and has excellent communication skills. Previous experience with Workday and a track record of successful HR technology projects are required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with HR business teams and Workday IT experts on system design decisions, user experience, complex issue resolution, and process design.
• Solution Design : Lead the design and implementation of Workday solutions to meet business needs, acting as a subject matter expert for various Workday modules. Conceptualize designs and end‑to‑end processes, providing expert guidance on best practices and system optimization.
• Technical Guidance : Provide technical leadership, drive Workday process enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the architecture addresses all stakeholder concerns and enterprise‑wide goals.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay up‑to‑date on Workday releases and trends, identifying opportunities to improve the process of delivering solutions.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science and/or equivalent.
• Business acumen : Strong understanding of HR business processes and how technology can be leveraged to improve them.
• Communication and collaboration : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels in the company and cross‑functional teams.
• Deep Workday expertise : In‑depth knowledge of Workday modules, such as Core HCM, Security, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Payroll.
• Technical proficiency : Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, including a strong understanding of Workday architecture, system logic and configuration.
• Problem‑solving skills : Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues.

Preferred

• Relevant years of recent experience working on Workday for a global professional services environment, specifically in support of HR functions.
• Excel in translating technical solutions that are meaningful to HR and leadership.
• Experience in project delivery framework practices, including agile, iterative and waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its subsets is an added advantage.
• Good exposure of senior stakeholder management skills.

Salary Ranges

157,700.00 – 210,300.00

Compensation & Benefits Details

• An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, geographic location, shift, internal and external equity, and business needs.
• The salary range is a the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.
• If your position is non‑exempt, you are eligible for overtime pay pursuant to company policy and applicable laws, and may also be eligible for shift differential pay depending on the shift to which you are assigned.
• You may be eligible to be considered for bonuses under the Short Term Incentive Plan (STI) or the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). Participation in the Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) program is also possible for eligible roles.
