We’re ideally looking for an applicant with Proficiency in Python and C# and Knowledge of Cameo and SmartBear tools. Pay Range: $67-$70/ hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Position Overview We are seeking skilled Software Development Engineers to join our team under the Leased Worker Program. These roles will support military tools programs, contributing to software development tasks in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain software solutions using Python and C#. Apply object‑oriented programming principles to design and implement robust applications. Utilize GitHub for version control and collaborate on code reviews. Write and maintain requirements and test procedures for software components. Participate in Agile sprints and manage tasks through Rally. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure integration and compliance with program standards. Support occasional on‑site activities, including integration and customer meetings. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience. Technical Skills Proficiency in Python and C#. Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming. Experience with GitHub, Visual Studio, and VS Code. Additional Skills Ability to write requirements and create test procedures. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning. Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace or automotive industries (or adjacent fields). Knowledge of Cameo and SmartBear tools. Exposure to integration with hardware systems. Work Location Remote‑first with occasional on‑site visits as needed. Candidates should be located in Eastern or Central time zones for team alignment.
