Our Radiology Department conducts approximately 25,000 imaging examinations each year, utilizing advanced equipment including a Philips ingenuity 64-slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D mammography technology.

CT and general X-ray services are available around the clock, while ultrasound and MRI services are provided on weekdays, with weekend ultrasound call coverage in place.

• Perform routine, trauma, and intraoperative radiological imaging.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
• Participate in cross-training for additional modalities as required by the department.
• Maintain current certifications, particularly in mammography or CT, as preferred.

This position offers competitive pay along with the following differentials:

• Evening Shift: $3/hour
• Night Shift: $5/hour
• Weekend Shift: $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening or night differentials)

• Completion of a formal radiological technology program from a CAHEA accredited institution.
• Certification by the ARRT or an equivalent body.
• A current, unrestricted Vermont state license to practice radiologic technology.
• Proven competence as a licensed professional, demonstrating ongoing professional development in the field of Radiology.
• Current certification in the special modality of the technologist is required.
• CT and/or Mammography certification is highly preferred.

The work schedule may vary based on certifications. Typically, this role has involved working four 10-hour shifts one week and three 12-hour shifts the following week. If certified in mammography or CT, evening hours may be included. Additionally, overnight shifts may be necessary for vacation coverage if CT certified. We can discuss department scheduling needs and personal preferences during the interview process. Currently, participation in a weekend shift rotation is not mandatory, but it may be required in the future if the need arises.

If CT-certified, the call rotation is every sixth weekend, with a one-hour response time for backup coverage.

We are pleased to offer an employment bonus ranging from $6,000 to $15,000 (subject to applicable taxes, distributed in three payments) for this position! The bonus amount is determined by years of experience. Apply today to learn more from our recruiter!
