Project Manager – K-12 Construction Location: Fairfield County, Connecticut Compensation: $125,000 – $160,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits Project: $50M K-12 School Construction Type: Full-Time Take the Lead on a Major Fairfield County School Project A well-established Connecticut construction management firm is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its team for a $50M K-12 project in Fairfield County . This is an opportunity to join a highly respected, employee-focused contractor with a strong pipeline of work throughout Connecticut. You'll take a key leadership role on a significant school project while working alongside an experienced project and field team. The company has built its reputation on complex public and institutional construction and offers the stability, resources, and project pipeline of an established GC without the overly corporate environment of a national firm. What You'll Be Doing Manage the project from preconstruction and buyout through closeout Oversee a $50M K-12 construction project in Fairfield County Manage project budgets, schedules, cost forecasting, and financial reporting Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and change management Coordinate closely with the Superintendent and field team Manage RFIs, submittals, owner changes, and project documentation Lead OAC and internal project meetings Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Identify project risks early and drive solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers What We’re Looking For Approximately 7+ years of commercial construction experience Previous Project Manager experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager Experience managing K-12, municipal, higher education, healthcare, or other institutional projects strongly preferred Experience with projects in the $20M–$50M+ range Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, subcontractor management, and contract administration Ability to independently manage a project while collaborating closely with field leadership Connecticut construction experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits $125,000 – $160,000 base salary , depending on experience Annual bonus opportunity Strong retirement benefits Generous PTO package Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Long-term advancement opportunities Stable pipeline of Connecticut-based projects Opportunity to join a company that places a major emphasis on employee retention and long-term career development Why Consider It?
