Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team in the Complex Liability Consulting (CLC) practice, specializing in mass tort and complex liability challenges. The role involves delivering cutting-edge liability coverage expertise, driving financial recoveries for clients, and shaping the future of complex liability consulting. You will work with a team that provides unparalleled expertise in insurance archaeology, policy analysis, allocation modeling, insurer negotiations, and claims tracking.

Responsibilities:

• Drive financial recoveries from carriers on behalf of clients by presenting compelling coverage arguments and negotiating resolutions.
• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with client goals.
• Expand consulting engagements by delivering exceptional service and demonstrating high value.
• Provide expert guidance to clients in shaping and refining project approaches, methodologies, and tools to manage risk programs effectively.
• Cultivate and deepen successful business relationships to grow client engagements.
• Leverage advanced knowledge of industry trends in risk management to generate actionable insights tailored to clients’ business and risk environments.
• Implement strategic plans and advanced technology to maximize clients’ insurance recoveries for mass tort and complex claims.
• Manage insurer communications, including notice and tender processes, coverage position letters, and information requests.
• Review policy documents to identify key provisions for policy management systems and coverage charts.
• Evaluate cost share agreements and buyout offers to ensure client interests are protected.
• Negotiate insurance coverage and loss allocation resolutions with adjusters on behalf of clients.
• Adhere to company policies for timekeeping, expense reporting, and billing.

Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of relevant experience evaluating and negotiating coverage on multi-year claims at an insurer, insurance archaeology firm, and/or law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven ability to deliver high-end solutions that expand client engagements.
• Recognized for superior, accurate, and timely work by clients, project managers, and key stakeholders.
• Creativity and effectiveness in developing materials that address complex client, project, and technical issues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Pay Range: $70 -$80
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
