Site Operations Lead

Let's Feed NY is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building permanent food access infrastructure across New York City and Long Island. We partner with Island Harvest, City Harvest, and Amazon to run weekly food distributions and at-home grocery deliveries serving hundreds of families.

We're looking for 3 Site Leads to join our core leadership team. This is not a background role — you are the person running the operation on the ground.

What you'll do: Lead and coordinate a team of 5-10 volunteers on distribution days. Break down and sort food pallets at our warehouse. Manage inventory flow from warehouse to distribution site. Ensure every family is served efficiently and with dignity. Report attendance, volume distributed, and any issues to leadership after each event.

Who you are: Reliable — you show up every single time. Comfortable giving direction and managing a team. Physically able to lift 30-40 lbs. 18 or older. Have access to transportation to Long Island and NYC sites. Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.

Commitment: Weekly, ongoing. Distribution days plus warehouse prep days. Roughly 4-6 hours per week.
