Traffic Engineer/Project Manager

Senior Traffic Engineer/Project ManagerExciting and highly rewarding opportunity for a Senior Traffic Engineer/Project Manager looking to join the team in Minneapolis! This is a hybrid position with working three days in the office and two days remote. Responsibilities include leading traffic related design/plan development (roundabouts, traffic signals, construction staging, maintenance of traffic, signing, striping, and lighting), conducting analyses using simulation and modeling software, producing plans, specifications and cost estimates, ensuring time and budget project goals are met, establishing work plans/staffing for project phases, coordinating activities of engineers, technicians, and production staff, preparing reports and specifications, assisting with business development, conducting meetings with clients and internal teams, and mentoring/training junior staff.Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, 8+ years of related transportation experience, 2+ years of experience managing multi-disciplined projects, PE License, working knowledge of the project development process, previous business development experience, strong working knowledge and previous experience with CADD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, etc.), proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook), PTOE Certification or interest in attaining PTOE Certification preferred, previous experience in developing/evaluating transportation system and corridor alternatives preferred, working knowledge of traffic analysis software (Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, etc.) preferred, professional registration in 2 or more states preferred.
