Medical Assistant - Part-Time

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Medical assistant to join our well established independent physician's office on a part-time basis of 4 days per week. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, has excellent people skills, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities: Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories. Assist providers during patient examinations and minor procedures. Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, injections, and EKGs as permitted by training and applicable regulations. Maintain accurate and timely patient records. Schedule appointments and assist with patient communications. Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies. Follow HIPAA, infection-control, and workplace safety guidelines. Provide courteous and professional service to patients and families.
