Description
Spring Gardens North Ogden is seeking a dependable and compassionate cook to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for our assisted living residents. The ideal candidate enjoys cooking, maintains a clean and organized kitchen, follows food safety standards, and works well as part of a team. Responsibilities include meal preparation, serving meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and accommodating special dietary needs while helping create a positive dining experience for our residents. Prior cooking or food service experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work as a cohesive member of a team.
Ability to read, write, and speak basic English and understand questions from residents and family members.
Ability to give and receive directions on work related tasks especially during events such as fires, disasters, and emergency situations.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem solving skills, when needed.
Ability to perform well under pressure and maintains a positive attitude, during working hours.
Professional in appearance and conduct.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to be patient and polite.
