• Shift / Schedule: Day (3x12 Hours) 7:00-19:30

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Operating Room RN position at an Acute Care Hospital in Fullerton, CA. The role involves a 1:1 patient ratio in the OR setting, with float requirements between like units per manager discretion. Scheduling preferences can be considered but are not guaranteed; scheduling requests due to additional employment will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting
• Float between like units as needed
• Participate in post-shift call: 1900-2300, 1x/week, may exceed to meet unit need
• Work as scheduled as needed Monday-Friday
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in the OR

Required Skills

• EPIC experience required
• Ability to float between like units
• Ability to fulfill post-shift on-call obligations (1900-2300, 1x/week)

Education Requirements

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) - Required
• Pending License accepted: No - active RN license required at time of submission

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• First-timers accepted if 2 years of experience is met

• Scrub color for OR: Provided by facility
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Float between like units: Yes
• Open to block schedule: Per manager discretion
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
• RTO Restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission
• Local Radius: 50 miles - please reach out to the Account Manager for local rate
• COVID-19: Not required
• Flu: Unknown
