Associate General Counsel

Job Title: Associate General Counsel Location: Phoenix, AZ(Hybrid) Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time | W2 Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 per year Job Description We are seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join a dynamic legal team supporting a leading healthcare organization. This role will focus on commercial contracts, software/SaaS agreements, AI-related legal matters, vendor negotiations, and regulatory compliance . The ideal candidate will have strong experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements while providing strategic legal guidance on technology, cybersecurity, procurement, and corporate matters. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS/software licensing, AI-related agreements, provider, and vendor contracts . Provide legal counsel on cybersecurity, procurement, digital marketing, business continuity, and regulatory compliance. Manage and update standard contract templates and related-party agreements. Advise internal stakeholders on healthcare and corporate legal matters, risk mitigation, and compliance. Support investigations, audits, complaint responses, and legal research. Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other legal forums as needed. Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active, unrestricted license to practice law in the State of Arizona. Admission to the Arizona State Bar. Strong experience with commercial contracts, SaaS/software licensing, AI-related legal issues, and vendor agreements . Excellent negotiation, analytical, legal research, and communication skills.
