Responsibilities Title: Physical Therapist Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reports to Director of Rehab As a Physical Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back . In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans and deliver physical therapy. You're a healer and a helper. You address the whole patient and treat them as an individual. Your goal is to design a program that restores, reinforces and enhances their physical abilities. You are adaptable to the needs of each patient and find joy in the variety of work and settings. You are a teammate and collaborate with peers, while also making referrals to help patients get the care they need to thrive. You are a teacher who can train patients and caregivers on skills needed to promote independence and productivity. Qualifications Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility. Must have a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Must have a Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience. The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated as the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
