RN - Labor and Delivery

Unit Notes


We average about 25-33 births / month.
6 birthing suites, 4 postpartum/surgical rooms for a total of 10 rooms.
3 OB/GYN's, 4 Family practice MD's do deliveries.
Lactation Consultant 3 days a week
1 nurse with up to 2 mom's and babies (could be 3 moms and babies at times), 1 nurse per labor patient.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. Current RN license in the State of Minnesota
2. Current BLS certification
3. Current NRP certification.
4. Equivalent of 1 year full time minimum LDRP experience.
5. Completion of Fetal Heart Monitoring course preferred.
6. 1 year MedSurg experience
