Production Manager

Reference: PR/607807_1787859988Our client, a global leader in specialty chemical manufacturing, is seeking a Production Manager to lead safe, reliable, and cost-effective production operations at its Memphis, TN facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence across production and utilities while ensuring world-class performance in environmental health and safety, process safety, quality, workforce development, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership across production, utilities, safety, quality, and workforce performance initiatives.Lead cross-functional teams to achieve production targets, schedule attainment, asset reliability, and customer service objectives.Drive process safety management (PSM), risk mitigation, incident investigation, and management of change (MOC) processes.Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to optimize plant performance and operational efficiency.Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity gains, and reliability enhancement.Develop and coach supervisors and operators while building a high-performing, engaged, and accountable workforce.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within a chemical processing environment.Strong knowledge of process control systems, industrial utilities, asset reliability, and manufacturing operations.Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM), Management of Change (MOC), ISO standards, and environmental, health, and safety compliance.Working knowledge of SAP and manufacturing performance management systems preferred.
