Location: HTX 77040 Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $25.00 $28.00 Hourly Schedule: Night Shift (4:30 PM 4:00 AM)

What You'll Do

• Lead the Night Shift: Supervise, motivate, and guide the night shift fabrication team to hit daily production targets while maintaining strict quality standards.

• Coordinate Workflow: Schedule fabrication activities, allocate resources efficiently, and facilitate smooth handoffs and communication with day-shift leadership.

• Drive Safety: Monitor the floor to enforce compliance with all company and regulatory safety protocols, ensuring a secure work environment.

• Troubleshoot & Inspect: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials. Promptly address mechanical or operational challenges to minimize downtime.

• Collaborate: Work closely with the engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to resolve fabrication issues and implement process improvements.

• Train & Mentor: Provide hands-on training, clear guidance, and constructive performance feedback to help your team develop their skills and accountability.

• Track Production: Maintain accurate production records and report on shift performance using computerized tracking systems.

What You Bring

• Language Skills: Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Shift Availability: Willingness and ability to consistently work the night shift schedule (4:30 PM to 4:00 AM).

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a heavy fabrication or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, safety standards, and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Blueprint Proficiency: Exceptional ability to read, interpret, and communicate requirements from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training in fabrication/welding is highly preferred).

• Bonus Points (Preferred): AWS Certified Welder credentials, experience leading night shifts, and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $28.00 Per Hour
