Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$2786.15/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide comprehensive care for women during childbirth and postpartum. The role involves managing high-risk pregnancies and supporting laboring patients through delivery in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor the condition of laboring patients, including high-risk cases. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols. Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, including C-sections and external cephalic versions. Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and activities. Qualifications: Valid KS or Compact RN license required at time of submission. Current BLS, FHM, NRP certifications required. Experience in high-risk labor and delivery, postpartum, and Level 2 NICU care preferred. Ability to manage high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes. Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts and float within scope as needed. Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
