Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide comprehensive care for women during childbirth and postpartum. The role involves managing high-risk pregnancies and supporting laboring patients through delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor the condition of laboring patients, including high-risk cases.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, including C-sections and external cephalic versions.
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid KS or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
• Current BLS, FHM, NRP certifications required.
• Experience in high-risk labor and delivery, postpartum, and Level 2 NICU care preferred.
• Ability to manage high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts and float within scope as needed.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
