What You'll Need:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

AART Certification in Radiation Therapy

Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required

2 years' experience as a radiation therapist

Minimum Qualifications

• ASRT certification.
• 2 years of radiation experience.

Assignment Details

• Variable scheduling with start times as early as 6:30am and end times as late as 8:30pm.
• No weekend requirement.

Additional Duties:

Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment

Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment

Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team

Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy

Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records

As a radiation therapist, you will help deliver prescribed cancer treatments while supporting care coordination with oncology teams. This role in a hospital setting in Fenton, Michigan offers the opportunity to contribute to treatment accuracy, patient safety, and continuity of care.

Fenton, Michigan offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional city amenities. Downtown Fenton includes the Fenton Fire Hall and the Rackham Building, and residents are within about 10 miles of Seven Lakes State Park for hiking, boating, and camping. The city is near US-23 and approximately 20 miles from downtown Flint, which provides access to the Flint Cultural Center, Sloan Museum of Discovery, and Capitol Theatre. For waterfront recreation, Silver Lake Park and Lake Fenton provide boating and fishing options, while Bishop International Airport in Flint is roughly 25 miles away for regional travel.
