We are seeking a Full Time Housekeeper at Towneplace Suites By Marriott to join our team!
Responsibilities:- Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, vacuum, mop floors and perform other cleaning duties as needed
- Empty trash and remove linen that could weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Sign for room keys, restock heavy cart and push to assigned rooms
- Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping
- Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers window ledges, PTAC unit, vents and shelves thoroughly
- Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage and repairs needed
- Arrange guest rooms to our hotel's standard before guests arrive
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Possess a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management and communication skills
- Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
- Strong attention to detail
- Work in confined spaces
- Must be a team player and willing to help co-workers
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
