Our hospital focuses on making essential veterinary services more accessible to our community. This includes; low cost S/N programs, preventative and general care, spectrum of care, and medical care for shelter animals. Why McCall, Idaho? What We’re Looking For: DVM or equivalent from an accredited veterinary school Idaho veterinary license (or ability to obtain) DEA and pharmacy licensure eligibility At least 2+ years of clinical experience preferred Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and an active, or readily obtainable, veterinary license in the state of Idaho. Competence in general practice veterinary medicine, including wellness care, diagnostics, treatment planning, and management of common medical and surgical conditions. Skill in performing routine surgeries (such as spay/neuter) and dental procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, colleagues, and shelter staff, including the ability to explain medical information clearly and empathetically. Effective collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Willingness to participate in continuing education and stay current on advancements in veterinary medicine, surgery, and shelter care best practices. Prior experience in small animal practice or shelter medicine is preferred but not required; new graduates with a strong interest in these areas are encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
