The Clinical Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and administration of a coordinated Clinical Operating Room and procedural area supply operations for Hartford Hospital that operates efficiently. Develops and implements methods and systems for improving operational efficiencies, and controls supply inventory. This will include the procurement, receiving & handling, transportation, storing, accounting, and issuing of materials. Develops and maintains Key Performance Indicators. Develops and implements Supply Chain best practices. Ensures adequate supply levels and coordinates timely supply distribution. Maintains open lines of communication to ensure materials meet the required standard. Provides leadership, guidance and support to physicians and staff to develop their understanding of supply chain best practices to ensure operational and financial goals are met. Develops cost reduction programs while maintaining satisfaction levels. Identifies sourcing opportunities, service improvements and product standardization consistent with the goals of meeting the client's expectations. Actively participate in the Value Analysis program. Maintains and supports all manual and automated systems for purchasing, receiving and distribution activities to include shipping activities as required (outbound).QualificationsExperience: 5 years applicable experience – Healthcare logistics, distribution and supply chainKnowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: Strong problem solving and communication skills; Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization; Innovative thinker; Ability to work in storeroom, warehouse and manual labor environmentWe take great care of careers.
