Come be a part of what’s next.The Studio Financial Planning & Analysis team is seeking a talented FP&A Senior Manager to support Eyeline, Interpositive, and the Animation Inkubator. These represent Netflix’s key investments in production innovation: Eyeline is Netflix’s large-scale VFX, Generative FX, and Virtual Production innovation company; Interpositive is Netflix’s newly-acquired filmmaking and editorial AI innovation company; and the Animation INKubator is Netflix’s pioneering team creating animated shorts and specials using experimental, creative-led, GenAI-native production pipelines. This Senior Manager will play a key role in driving financial planning, providing strategic insights, and partnering cross-functionally to support the growth and operational excellence of our these business units across global footprint. This role will also serve as a critical and integrated business partner to each unit’s leadership and to overall Content Operations & Innovation leadership.In this role, you will need to be a big-picture thinker, a self-starter, and an analytical thought partner with an eye for detail. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and embrace ambiguity and change. You must be a solutions-oriented problem solver and be able to communicate complex ideas using both qualitative and quantitative means to a broad spectrum of stakeholders - from Studio leadership to central Content, and Corporate FP&A, HR/Talent, and Product & Technology. The position is based in Los Angeles, and will lead a team of three FP&A Associates. The role will require occasional travel to Vancouver, Canada where the Associate team and various Eyeline stakeholders are based.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead near- and long-term P&L forecasting for Eyeline, Interpositive, and the Animation INKubatorOwn headcount planning and people cost managementConduct financial scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making and business scalingDrive analysis to support investment memos, deal analysis, go/no-go decisions, and new initiativesCapex planning/forecastingDevelop and enhance financial KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to drive insightsPartner cross-functionally to evolve financial frameworks supporting both management and GAAP reportingPrepare and deliver monthly and quarterly business review presentations, synthesizing performance across each entitySupport the implementation of dynamic financial planning tools and drive automation across systems and processesCoordinate forecasts and consolidations across multiple stakeholdersFinance point person for the businesses that will interface/partner with other Finance functions (Accounting, Tax, etc)Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A teamDrive Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and outputs as the business evolvesQualifications:Candidates are required to be highly analytical & strategic and be strong, effective communicatorsA sound understanding of related accounting guidanceThe successful candidate must display initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of senior-level executives. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of superior financial and strategic analysis and delivering actionable recommendations based on this analysisRequirements:10+ years of experience in an FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Planning role, including people-management experienceExtensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analyses, including headcount/position planning and opex management in a complex, multi-entity or multi-region organizationMust have proficiency working with systems and automated reporting tools (i.e., Anaplan, Workday, Oracle/TM1, Looker, etc.). Financial systems implementation experience is a plusSuperior proficiency with Excel and complex financial modelingExperience using AI tools to build reports, dashboards, and enhance personal productivityExcellent verbal and written communication skills4-year degree in a relevant field with strong academic performance, MBA a plusGenuine passion and excitement for Netflix's unique cultureExposure to international finance topics - multi-currency, intercompany, and government incentives/grants (e.g., Korea) - is a plusGenerally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $325,000.00 - $500,000.00.Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits.
