This entry-level role focuses on clerical tasks, processing driver payments and settlements, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with issue resolution. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.**Key Duties and Responsibilities:*** Assist with Accounting tasks, including daily driver payment and settlement processing* Investigate and help resolve payment discrepancies* Maintain accurate financial and compliance records, and occupational accident coverage records* Process settlements and bulk invoicing in QuickBooks* Perform data entry and general clerical support## Qualifications**Required Skills and Abilities:*** Basic understanding of clerical or administrative work* Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Good written and verbal communication skills* Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively* Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software* Willingness to learn accounting software; QuickBooks preferred**Education & Experience:*** High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or equivalent vocational training preferred* 1-2 years of related clerical or accounting experience preferred**Work Environment:***Equipment Operated:* Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.*Work Environment:* Position is in a well-lit, temperature-controlled office environment. Typically, Monday through Friday workweeks. Occasional evening and weekend work could be necessary.*Mental/Physical Requirements:* Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day for long periods of time, walking or standing the remainder.
