Hematology/Oncology Physician
Integrity Locums
Coverage Needed
- Start Date: 08/01/2026
- End Date: 07/01/2027
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p; possible travel up to two days per week to outlying office
- Weekend onsite rounding (Saturday and Sunday, 4 hours per day) on assigned weekends
- Call Schedule: Beeper call after hours; 1:2 ratio
Clinical Details
- EMR System: Epic
- Practice Settings: Outpatient, Inpatient
- Patients Per Shift: 12-15
- Rounding Patients: Assigned Patients
- Support Staff: 6 infusion RNs (16 chairs), 3 RN navigators, 2 RN oral chemo navigators, 1 inpatient APP, 1 outpatient APP, 3 MOAs
- Required to supervise advance practice providers
- Call: Response time within 30 minutes; 0-5 phone consults; Patients Per Day: 0-5; Call Back %:10
- No need to return in person to clinic or hospital
- May need to answer to clinic critical values or urgent patient matters
- No admissions; consulting service only
- Trauma level 1
- Hospital rounds/consults to be completed daily on the assigned weeks & weekends
- Locums-to-Perm candidates highly favored
Requirements
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology
- Licenses: Active PA license or IMLC with LOQ
- Certifications: Completion of 3 hours of child abuse recognition and reporting education and 4 hours of pain management and opioid prescribing education preferred
- Fellowship preferred
