Position Details Department: Blue Mound Liquor Store Compensation: Minimum $16.91/hr Hours: Part-time Reports to: Liquor Store Manager Supervisory Duties: None FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part Time Grade: 2 Union Status: Non-Union Job Duties and Essential Functions Greet customers, answer questions, and assist them in finding products. Stock shelves and coolers. Count cash registers at the beginning and end of each shift. Maintain cleanliness of liquor store. Ensure liquor store is properly secured and closed at the end of the day. Comply with all local and state laws regarding the sale of alcohol. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Desired Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Required Physical Abilities and Work Conditions The job requires working indoors in a busy and fast‑paced environment. Shifts can include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Limited lifting up to 80 lbs may be required. Activities that occur constantly (5–8 hours/shift): standing, walking, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions. Activities that occur frequently (2–5 hours/shift): carrying, eye/hand/foot coordination. Activities that occur occasionally (up to 2 hours/shift): lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
