As part of the Global Quality & Compliance organization, this role serves as the Voice of the Consumer (VoC) lead—translating field performance data into actionable insights that improve product reliability and customer experience.Working cross‑functionally with Customer Service, Sales, Supplier Quality, R&D, Product Care, and Brand Licensing teams, the Field Quality Engineer drives issue resolution, supports root cause analysis, and ensures continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. This role is highly collaborative and data‑driven, with a strong focus on field performance, problem‑solving, and proactive quality improvements.Key Responsibilities:Collect, analyze, and synthesize Voice of Consumer data including warranty claims, service data, returns, and customer feedbackIdentify trends and emerging quality risks, translating insights into actionable improvement initiativesLead root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys) and drive cross‑functional alignment on corrective actionsTrack and manage quality issues, ensuring timely escalation, resolution, and follow‑up across stakeholdersPartner with Supplier Quality, R&D, and Product Care teams to implement corrective actions and improve product performanceOwn and continuously improve regional field quality reporting, including KPIs, scorecards, and trend analysisCoordinate return and analysis of defective products and components to support technical investigationsSupport new product development by providing field insights, quality targets, and performance expectationsDeploy quality improvement tools such as service bulletins and troubleshooting guides to field teamsSupport training, technical guidance, and feedback loops with service technicians and Customer Service teamsContribute to Brand Licensing quality activities, ensuring licensed products meet Electrolux standardsCollaborate across global and regional teams to share best practices and improve quality processesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; equivalent experience consideredMinimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering, field quality, or product performance analysis within a manufacturing environmentStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience in root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development lifecycleExperience analyzing warranty, service, or consumer data to drive improvementsStrong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skillsWillingness to travel within North America as needed - 20%Preferred Qualification:Experience in consumer durable goods or appliance industriesFamiliarity with quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC)Knowledge of product functionality, components, and common failure modesBenefits include:Flexible work hours/hybrid work environment (80 / 20)Medical, dental, vision and life insuranceCompetitive holiday and vacation time off programRetirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.Discounted products and an EAP upon hire and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of servicePlease be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.Find more on: Electrolux Group North America: Electrolux Group Careers: Consumer Products, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
