Job Title: Assembler II
Shift Timings: 1st shift, 6:00AM - 2:30PM
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Dress Code: Long pants, steel toed boots

Summary:
Assembler II Primary Function: Sets up equipment, prepares compounds and processes a variety of assemblies, such as standard connectors and special connectors following written and verbal instructions.
Essential Functions:
? Setup equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping and contact hooding.
? Weigh, mix and identify items such as inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds and potting materials.
? Able to interface with customers if necessary.
? Follow intermediate drawings and procedures.
? Perform connector assemblies.
? Perform work with limited to no supervision.
? Train and assist Assembler 1s.
? Manually load and/or machine load retainers into molded plastic inserts per work order instructions.
? Bond loaded front inserts to molded plastic rear inserts per work order instructions.
? Bond interface seals and grommet seals to plastic insert assemblies per work order instructions.
? Assemble and bond EMI rings to connector shell per work order instructions.
? Apply identification stamping to various components and assemblies.
? Paint components, as well as apply paint stripe markings to contacts.
? Work in a safe manner and perform housekeeping duties to maintain safe work environment. Assure proper maintenance of a safe and clean work area.
? Stage materials for shipment as required.
? Prepare single and shielded wires for termination, crimp contacts to prepared wires, terminate simple cables to connectors, and load and operate heat treat and annealing ovens.

Basic Qualifications:
? 1-2 years
? experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations
? Ability to read, follow and understand verbal instruction, product/ process specifications, drawings, and work orders in English
? Ability to use calculators
? Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements; in addition to use of hand tools
? Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdown
? Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts

Required Qualifications:
? High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
? Must be able to work in the Client States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
? No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
