Radiologic Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of imaging procedures, provide high-quality patient care, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective diagnostic services. The role involves operating radiologic equipment, preparing and positioning patients for imaging exams, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures including but not limited to chest, abdomen, and extremities.
• Administer contrast media as required and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with medical staff on patient care and imaging needs.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience required.
• Current CA Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT certification in Radiography.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Ability to float between departments and other facilities as needed.
