This person will be responsible for receiving reports regarding all types of communicable diseases (including Tuberculosis) and ensuring appropriate follow-up and treatment are completed. This person is also part of the Health Department's Epidemiological Team and serves as the Employee Health Nurse and OSHA contact. This person must possess good organization and communication skills. Must have a current license to practice as Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the N.C. Board of Nursing.Education or Experience Requirements:Graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and two years of Public Health Nursing experience; or Master's Degree in Public Health and graduation from a school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience; or graduation from a school of professional nursing and three years of professional nursing experience including two years of Public Health Nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
