Job Description

Job Summary:

Coordinates and performs computerized tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis. Operates advanced CT equipment while ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CT equipment according to manufacturer specifications and patient protocols.
• Position patients properly, utilizing safe lifting and immobilization techniques.
• Prepare and administer contrast media intravenously as prescribed by the Radiologist.
• Capture, develop, and record high-quality images for analysis and future reference.
• Collaborate with the medical team to schedule and organize daily patient procedures.
• Maintain equipment calibration, perform routine quality control checks, and ensure timely repairs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience.
• Proficiency with Phillips CT scanners required.
• Prior experience in a traveler or contract role preferred.
• Valid Michigan license; certification in ARRT and BLS required.
• Ability to evaluate patient conditions and respond to adverse reactions.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
