Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute experience required License: Current State License Certifications: Required certifications as mandated Must-Have: Travel experience required Description: ICU experience is required. No block schedule requests; 48-hour schedules can be considered but are not guaranteed. Orientation is conducted weekly. This facility is a Joint Commission accredited establishment. It has 171 beds and serves as a community hospital and regional referral center. The facility is certified as a Chest Pain Center. It is designated as a Level 3 Trauma center. Located in a region known for outdoor recreation, it offers beautiful mountain ranges and serene lake scenery. The site is conveniently close to major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon National Park. The unit consists of 30 beds with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3. The equipment used includes an electronic health record system. The patient population primarily includes adults and geriatrics. Common patient conditions on the unit encompass STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG, acute respiratory failure, and atrial fibrillation.
