Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, delivering high-quality nursing services within scope of practice
• Participate in on-call coverage, including one on-call day per week and rotating on-call weekends (Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM, every 4th/5th weekend)
• Participate in approximately one scheduled Saturday per month as part of the standard four-shift weekly schedule
• May float to EP (Electrophysiology) or IR (Interventional Radiology) to meet facility needs within scope
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

• Active Alaska RN license (pending AK license accepted for submission; license must be in hand for offer)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience; at least 1 year required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal; only one time-off request is permitted per 13-week assignment

• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility

• Work at a nationally recognized, Magnet-designated Level II Trauma facility - ranked among the best hospitals in Alaska - offering a dynamic and high-acuity clinical environment
• Scrubs are provided and parking is complimentary, with an expected schedule of 70 hours per two-week pay period
